Authorship of Reality

We use words to label our experience and then believe in what the words represent to us.
To define anything is to name it. Without a name, the definition will not exist, and without a sense of definition, we cannot assign a name. The name can be one word or a description
For example, "cooperation." Or, "it was a cooperative team that created a sense of cohesion." Once I recognize it and apply a definition, I can spot it in the future. Not only can I spot it, I can also tell others what I see, and if I am persuasive, they might see what I see. The more I see it, the more I expect to see it, and now I can attract it. Attracting it, really, just means that now I create it unconsciously. As NLP Practitioners, we spot things that most people miss.
This is why we need to create definitions, and words, concepts, laws, and ideas about truths or processes are just definitions we have created through observation. It is this authoring of our observations that leads us to believe that life events have certain meanings, and these meanings are suggestions we feed to our unconscious mind. The fact that our UM doesn't understand that these are merely suggestions and not absolute truths means it accepts them without reservation. This means that we are all authoring our destiny in real time. We are writing our story and how it will unfold with the metaphorical pencil and paper we are all born with.
You will not control what the pencil writes on the paper until you become acutely aware that you are experiencing life in this way. Most people have no clue that they are the author of their story. They think that life is happening to them. Nothing is happening to you...It is all happening for you. Our life path is the product of our self-authoring. Our results are a function of our unconscious responses, which means what we do in life, what we achieve, how happy we are, and how much fulfillment we have is truly authored by us. Our job is to become as deeply acquainted with the process of defining reality so we can create definitions that lead us to a better place and give us access to better behaviour.
So, I want to create my story by authoring my beliefs and my definitions. Who is with me? Who wants to learn how to self-author? Who feels that life will be more enjoyable if they can feel their metaphorical pencil in their hand? How would it feel to know the paper you are authoring your life on is something you can carry with you in your mind and therefore influence?
